This Story is about a coward king, who is very greedy. It is about a shining silver plate.

In India, there was a famous king. He was not very rich, and his kingdom was very small. He was very stubborn and cunning. One day, he ordered his soldier,'' Go bring me a cup of juice.'' The juice was served and another soldier came running, he said,'' Your majesty, the neighboring kingdom is planning to attack our kingdom, the agents have informed me. We need to take action as we have lack of soldiers for army.'' The king got scared, he had not a good experience of wars,'' Why does he want to attack us??''

''Because you have stopped the river flow to their kingdom. They don't have much water to survive. There are hundreds of people in pain and ill.''

The king decided to write a letter to the king, he wrote:

Respected king,

I know you are very angry of me. I stopped the flow of water for your kingdom, your people are starving of river water, and you have the only river. I did this because I had to. I can't tell you the reason but please co-operate.

King August was still angry. So, he asked him for many gold coins so that he can purchase water from any other kingdom. But the king didn't had much amount of money and refused, so then the neighboring kingdom's king asked for the most shiniest silver plate. The king accepted, promised and told his soldiers to bring a silver plate, but there wasn't any silver plate. So, the king ordered to make one very special, when the plate was made, the king was so attracted to that shining plate, that he told the man to make another plate for king August. The second plate was also made, but then it was more sparkly, the king threw the 1st plate and took the 2nd, then the 3rd for the king August was made. The 3rd one was the most beautiful, so the king finally decided to auction the 3rd plate and give king August the 2nd plate. It was auction day, a king won the plate and he ran away with it. The king caught him, and he saw he didn't had any beard!!It was fake, he was August. As promised by the king, he didn't gave the king the most shiniest so that is why he came for auction. The king learnt his lesson and soon after the river flow towards king August's kingdom.
