The Cave Of Snakes

Ramu a short heightened man but very hardworking with his big black moustache, black rough hair and a sour smile were walking through a dark and dense pathway in the tropical forest of the kingdom. It was a windy night and Ramu had to collect bamboo sticks so he could sell them in the kingdom to feed his Large Family of 6 children and 2 wives. 

He had his newly made hut right near the forest. He would collect bamboos every day. His family not used to worry much as they knew that sometimes Ramu could be late. But this time it was a thunderstorm night. Ramu had collected many bamboo sticks and headed towards home. But then it was time to precipitate, Ramu had no umbrella nor anything to cover his head. He was scared and ran towards a cave which he saw nearby. The cave seemed comfortable and Ramu decided to stay in the cave for the night. He decided to snooze for a while and see if the rain stops. He woke up after some time because of a slithering voice. It was like a snake, Ramu touched the ground and felt something wired. The lightning had lightened up a second to help Ramu find what was happening. He got shocked as he saw a slithering long snake who serpentined in S shape. Ramu took his bamboo and moved it away. But he saw more than two snakes, that was a big tragedy!! Ramu ran away as fast as he could and finally reached his house. His two wives had fallen asleep. It was not his capability to just run in this stormy weather. He decided to report the king and see what's really inside that creepy cave. 

The next day, Ramu went to the king's court to mark his complaints. The king sent his soldiers to the cave that morning. Ramu showed them the way but then a snake bit a soldier and the soldier fainted. 

All of the soldiers ran in a hurry. Ramu was curious and too ran with them. The king stepped into the dark cave on his own, he kept walking till he saw hundreds of snakes. The king was about to run but then he noticed a blue snake. The king felt that deep greediness and decided to catch that unique snake. The soldiers however caught that snake in a brown bag and took it to the court. ''My dear subjects, I have got great news, I have discovered a unique blue snake that will be auctioned by a few kingdoms tomorrow.'' This news was going viral in many kingdoms, an old but though man entered the king's court, ''This is a disaster!! Your majesty, you have done a very incorrect thing keeping this snake with you! lord Shiva will punish you for sure!! This is a warning.'' The king got frightened he responded,'' I am so sorry!! Please give an idea so lord Shiva will forgive me!!'' ''ok, there is just one idea, you by yourself will have to find the 100 years old Murti of lord Shiva and wound their neck by this snake.'' The king was ready and searched day and night for that Murti. He finally decided to enter that cave again and go deeper. Oh! And he found out the lord's Murti!! He wounded the snake around the god's neck and the Murti shined brightly, it was a sign of forgiving. The king learnt his lesson, thus cancelled the auction and kept the newly discovered Murti safe.
