Interpretation Ōf Dream

In today's blog, I am sharing yet another inspiring story titled interpretation of the dream.

Once a man saw a weird dream. He couldn’t understand the connotation of his dream. So he decided to visit a saint in his ashram to ask him about his dream.

He confided in saint & told him, “I had a very strange dream last night. I couldn’t understand its meaning. Can you please guide me?”

Saint smiled and replied sure.

The man started telling him about his dream.

He mumbled In the dream I was being chased by a lion and while trying to save myself from a lion, I climbed on a tree. The lion sat down there, just below that tree waiting.

There while sitting on the branch I saw that two rats were circling that branch of a tree, eating it slowly. One of those rats was white and the other was black.

Seeing that branch can fall anytime soon I began to worry. When again I looked down below, I saw that a vicious snake was sitting right under my branch with his mouth wide open.

When I looked around to see if there could be anything to hold on to, I saw another branch with a honey bee on it and honey was dropping from that honeynet.

Seeing that I couldn’t stop myself from tasting that honey and when I put my tongue out I got a drop of honey on my tongue and tasted that honey.

Even after tasting it once, I tried to get yet another drop of honey on my tongue and I got lost in its sweetness and forgot all about those rats, snakes, and weak branches I was sitting on.

Just after that, I woke up from my sleep.

Saint listened to him carefully and replied, the lion you saw in your dream was your death, it always chases you wherever you go.

White and black rats represented our day and night respectively. They circle, coming one after another, to eat your time and take you closer to your death.

The big black snake with a dark mouth that you saw is your grave. It’s there, just waiting for you to fall into it.

Honeybee you saw, represents this world, Sweet homely you tasted were like luxuries of this world.

When we come to this world, we like to taste the luxuries of this world, and once tasted, we want it again and again. Meanwhile, we get lost into it and forget about our time and death..”

Saint continued and said, This world is like a serpent, soft to touch but so full of lethal poison. Unwise people are allured by it and drawn towards it and wise men avoid it and keep away from its poisonous effects. So start thinking about your next journey and what will go along with you is your good deeds, karmas & spiritual activities you have done to remember God almighty.
