Tygron’s Tail!

Circe was a daughter of Helios

And the beautiful nymph Perse

Exiled to a lonely island Aiaia,

Where Odysseus visited her 

After the great war of Troy

Both fell in love, then he left.

She gave birth to Telegonus.

Athena, daughter of Zeus came

And asked for her sons life!

To save her son, Circe went 

Down the bottom of the sea

And challenged Tygron for

His venomous tail and won

She put the tail on her son’s

Staff, and when he sailed to

Ithaca Odysseus did not

Recognize him and fought

Resulting in his own death

By Tygron tail and the world

Turned to Circe as a bad witch!
