Those Days

Gone are those days where you can seek attention silently.

Gone are those days where you can smile with no reason.

Gone are those days where you can share love selflessly.

Gone are those days where you can depend on someone.

Gone are those days where you can execute your dreams.

Gone are those days where life and happiness cost more than currency.

Gone are those days where someone understands your emotions behind tears.

Gone are those days where darkness meant fear.

Gone are those days where monsters we're really in a dream and not in reality.

Gone are those days, where you were a child.

But there are instances where the child within feels secure,

And it's with the people who are special called friends.

At times one needs to see a friend within us.
