The Undaunted Souls
The Undaunted Souls
It's raining cats and dogs in my city
Combined with rumbling thunder
And groaning storms;
The city which is intensely embedded
On my heart and secretly mourning
For those who've faced a lot since ages,
Never backed out , hated cowardice forever,
And sacrificed their entity kissing the soil of the motherland.
Anguishes oozing out from their body
In form of clotting blood,
Flushed mind, devastated face, burnt skin, gallant heart,
Enraged their eyes and their souls blazed in fire,
They come to the battle ground
Dressed like warriors sent from heaven,
And demolish foes, throwing away the waste of vices.
They celebrate their triumph with the red tilak
On their foreheads made out of the blood of their veins.
Summer, Monsoon, Winter, and Spring,
They are invincible singing the songs of victory,
Lyrics originated from their bravery
And melody stirred euphony to the relodent making of song.
Early birds they are, bring new morning to the country,
New hope, new love, a new mantra, and new oath,
They are the pioneer of creating new sides
Of a dilemmic country.
Bridging on their concocted shoulders,
We build our innovative society.
Days come to a conclusion
Succumbing to the burden of age,
But the soldiers out there never get senile,
They renovate over the time, years and decades.
An entire civilization looks into for their endeavours,
An entire country prays for their safety,
And an entire nation bows down in front of their salient credibility.
UNDAUNTED they are, angels of a parallel world,
Serving for the mankind and loving humanity,
Striving for mission results only into prosperity.
