The Stepping Stone
The Stepping Stone

The uncertainty prime
Crafts fear traps unbreakable
Crippling virtues meant to shine.
Piling setbacks pull me down
Visibility of goal decrease in ascension
Becoming an achiever is difficult.
Thoughts want to climb up
Actions dread to crumble up
Heart not ready to give up.
Scrutinized between the two
I dared to overcome my fear
Step on the stone present near.
Challenges quite high presented
Determined me, chose to pierce through
But labored fight fatigued.
One half said to give up
Conc
rete one called to go further
Retrospection I chose to do never.
Dragging through the fog
A ray of light shone through
Breaking the negativity building through.
Light became the rope I needed
Energy awesome, like magic, donned
Fading self, suddenly wheeled.
The journey that was difficult till now
Called for mysterious come back
For dreams are meant to materialize.
The vast sea in front appears impossible to swim
Desire within scrutiny to jump and fathom
The stepping stone ultimately pushed me further.
