The Day I Made Pizza

The day I made pizza

I hoped it would come out well,

But the actual result was really different

And here's how it all went.

I made the pizza dough

And ended up with dough on my face,

I spent an hour

But chefs have a different pace.

I spread some pizza sauce

Just like the chef style,

But when I looked at the pizza

The sauce looked like the river Nile.

I topped it with a lot of mozzarella

And bell peppers and meat,

Before popping it into the oven

It looked like a field of wheat.

I put it in the oven

For fifty minutes

And what came out

Was crispier than roasted peanuts.

I was about to put it in the bin

But then I got an idea,

I broke the pizza into little pieces

Served them to the whole family

Including the food fussy Tia.

Everyone enjoyed it

And asked for more,

I named it pizza bites

But got to eat only four!
