Stranger in the mirror

The mirror is rarely my halt

Lack of time, my only fault!

But, today someone held my gaze

I stopped in my tracks in a daze

I stared unabashed at her beauty

Then, shyly I lowered my gaze

My face flushed like the sky at dawn

Now, the mirror seemed so new

As I stared at my lover's muse!
