Sorry But, I Am Not Sorry

Sorry But, I Am Not Sorry

Since childhood, we have been told to behave in a certain way,

And if not we do so, the normal ones keep us at bay!

If felt like we were to be moulded in some classic pattern,

As if we were to wait to get copied till comes our turn!

From the height and weight and skin colour and hobbies,

We have always been compared to some socially acceptable bodies!

The desire to be perfect and alright was so strong,

That no one could sense, how deeply it was wrong!

The desire to be socially acceptable and likeable was on peak,

We forgot that being different or weird won't make us weak!

When we feel a little too much or at times nothing at all,

Moderation was the thing that was brought hauling!

So sorry for being the misfit among the fake fits,

But no sorry for being as brutally honest as I can be!
