Do I have it in me 

to take a challenge?

Time to think back,

Or relax for a moment.

For how long?

Can I nudge myself;

To write each week,

thoughts I cherish.

Without a clue,

What topics to hit?

Genre I know; sure

free verse and wit.

The heart says, yes

Just try and end, 

touch the finishing line!

I wonder what if it is, just

A number game for others?
