In the deep deep sea
Where oysters are
In shells so clean and warm
If one sand comes or
Any guest
They welcome one and all
The sand has flown
By seawater
And maybe lost his way
A guest was knocking
At the door
Snail welcomes him all gay
In saltwater
The mollusks say
In fresh water
Mussels
Oh you must Not
Tickle me at all
For here I meditate
Soon the host
Casts a spell of
Shiny cloak over them
The mischievous
Creature then
Is taught some wise poems
Past Many years
He shines so brightly
He is known as Pearl
And mother oyster
Is smiling at
Another one at bay!
