MY DEVI MAA

My favourite Goddess Saraswati

My mother who bestowed me

With many blessings and love

Whenever I write, words flowing

Through my pen by Her grace

When I sing bhajans, Her loving hands

Hugging and blessing me like a mother

I look with awe at her magnificent idol

Surrounded by an aura of divine lights.

The aroma of camphor and dhoop sticks

In the temple, when the bells ring and 

Aarti is being done chanting Her names

I realize that She is omnipresent and

Omnipotent showering blessings on us.
