Mother's Love - Spicy As Honey

When everything seemed so nice

And everyone was cheerful

There came my Mother's complaints

Which signaled that I was fateful

She started off with one issue

And as her rage grew

She added a million more

No use defending, I withdrew

I kept shifting my gaze to the clock

Calculating when she started

Sighed that it had to go on

I could do nothing then but sat and awaited

At the moment, I would seem disinterested

Not caring about what she says

Later I would sit and realize

The care behind those Essays!!

I don't think she wants to scold

Just for the sake of scolding

The Love expressed in this harsh way

Is for the sole purpose of molding (me)

But at the end of the day

All that she shows is love and care

I know she will do anything for me

And yet she will always be there
