Lord Of The World

Accompanied by His brother Balavadra and sister Subhadra, 

The Lord of the world, Jagannath, 

Sitting on a chariot,

Profoundly look into the heart of devotees to search

His presence in the form of Krishna, 

Ram and Narayan.

With all chanting of mantra, 

With all offering, 

The magnanimous, 

The generous God renders an opportunity for the world to witness Him. 

Forgetting caste, religion, 

People celebrate Rathayatra all across the world.

Looking at the enthusiasm, 

The omnipotent smiles and the rain God mizzles, 

All the Gods in heaven invisibly worship for His magnificence.

The universal God who is won only by love, 

Had fought for the glory of the king, Puri,

Writing the epic story of king Purusotam of

And princess Padmavati of Kanchi.

Yes, the kings and his generations sweep the chariot of Lord to prove the obeisance.

Yes,

we address Him as Lord Jagannath, the flutist Krishna, the best man Ram,

And He gives us the ultimate bliss that we yearn.
