Like A Queen

A mother has a kind, pure soul,

And an amazing heart made of gold.

This poem is ‘bout my MOTHER,

Who loves me more than any other.

LIKE A QUEEN

You carried me for nine months in your womb,

You took care of me till I bloomed,

I always find peace in your arms,

You gave me everything from the start.

Ever since papa JANUZ went to daddy Jesus,

You calmed me down and told me

This is not the end,

Jesus will protect us

And new beginnings are waiting for us.

You always took care of me like a queen,

Even though I became a teen.

You never made me feel the gap of

Not having a father in my life,

Because you took Dad’s place.

You’ve given me a mother’s care

And a father’s protection.

You’ve always stood with me,

And fought against the world for me.

You told me what is wrong and right,

And you also told me how to fight.

You work a lot, day and night just for me,

And I’m so blessed to have you in my life.

I’ve seen all the hard work,

All the tears and sleepless nights.

And when you wake me up with a bright smile,

There I knew you were going to make my day

Perfect and right.

Mom I always ask Jesus that

I want my dad back,

But now I realize

My mother’s not less than a dad.

Hats off for all the hard work

You’ve done for me.

And I promise that when I grow up

I’ll treat you like a queen!!!
