Kindness In The Heart

I have noticed the kind of kind,

I don't find them often.

They simply stand by when in need,

And don't bother you when in need.

The utmost selflessness on their heart,

They care for people around them.

Been less taken care of, is no complain from them.

But, why is that, this kindness of theirs,

Is not acknowledged?

Why can’t their care be reciprocated?

Is that something which we lack, to give?

But, so happy to take?

Isn’t there a way better to give back?

A sense of gratitude is needed,

To be thankful to have gotten a unasked favour.

But why is that, we still aren’t doing the same for the others,

While we are taking it all so freely, free of charge?
