I am coloring myself, modestly....

In the pages of life, responsibility,

I'm running continuously.......

I am flowing silently....

Imprisoned in the lock of time,

I am moving slowly....

On the blank paper of any book,

I'm leaving my mark abruptly....

In the pocket near someone's heart,

I am falling in love, romantically....

I'm just a pen!!

Wrapped in an envelope,

I am crying like a desert, madly..

I'm just a pen!!

Marching towards the aim,

I am moving forward, bravely.....

I'm just a pen!!

In the grip of those small fingers,

I come as the first step of knowledge, smartly....

I'm just a pen!!

After every black judgment of justice,

I'm getting punished, unknowingly...

Lying in the pages of diary, till date,

The silent death of dreams, meekly.....

Stories of every freedom fighter,

I register and still listen, proudly....

In the haste of modernity,

Sleeping in a corner of drawer, dejectedly..
