I Know A Girl
I Know A Girl
Mentation in a soundless skull, Passed by in a moment dull...
It said to have known a girl,
A life that twirled to twirl...
I know a girl it said...
Promised to be there her father, Always for her and no other....
But as time changed
The promise too,
Who are you to me? And me to you? Promised to her, her mother Love you more than me, a sister or a brother
But as age shot up,
Who's the coffee? And who's the cup? Promised to her, her friends Never to leave till the world ends
But as she passed the school,
What's so hot? And what's so cool? Promised to her, herself To be her guardian, to be her self
And as time passed,
She learned to bypass...
All her pains,
Turned them to gains...
With all her words,
In herds and herds....
Some call her intellect
Some call her nerd,
She knows no failure
She knows no way backward...
Keeps walking further A nomadic,
Laughter in stains
No panic....
She is her own motivation, the Toughest of hours is her celebration... She might speak no letter,
But write to better
The world with all she got to say, About life or a lover to make them stay... She dreams of her charming, The thought itself so alarming...
For all have just used,
Her own or outsiders...
Her soul so bruised,
Hidden below the nets of spiders...
And it said I know a girl,
The shell of an oyster, core a pearl...
