Monsoon is in 

Full swing now

Making all the 

Farmers happy 

In their fields

toiling hard 

from dawn to

Down.

Frogs, toads

and snakes 

are busy on

their procreative

activities on 

the jungle 

and rural fields

wishing for an

enlivened 

future 

generation.

Urban youths 

are flying in a

romantic field

embracing 

their partners 

inside the 

parks and 

river 

embankments.

Rain is always 

falling down 

From the dense 

clouds of the 

sky on to the 

rural areas.

Now the rain

subsides in 

The rural 

domain 

inspiring 

black 

caterpillars 

to climb the

Roofs and 

walls of the

houses 

hankering for

a new life.

Peacock and 

Peahen are 

dancing with

amorous gaiety 

inclining 

towards 

enlarging their 

family status.

Gleeful kids

are busy on 

floating their

Paper boats

on the canal 

and stagnant 

rainwater pools 

clapping hands

and jumping 

here and there

to supersede 

one another 

on village 

thproughfare.

Again thunder

bolds raised it's 

uproar warning 

the black clouds

to shed their 

drops down to

the ground

making the kids

ran away into

their homes.

Granny at home 

is waiting for 

her grandchildren 

on the veranda

to make merry 

with them after

having a snack 

and some sips 

of tea.

Cloud strikes

their bodies 

with the green

hills by drfting 

around the 

thickets 

creating lovely

scenes of 

nature. 

The lurking sun

behind the clouds

shows it's face 

amid the 

showering spray 

of rain.

The rainbow 

smiles on the 

hill tops giving 

it's glance to

flora and fauna 

underneath 

by making the 

tribal folks 

gleeful and 

hoping for a 

good harvest.

O our life 

saver Monsoon 

rain please never 

stop your plying 

as long as there

is worldly 

natives under 

the guidance of 

Lord the 

Supreme 

commander of

the universe

so as to make

the terrestrial 

field evergreen 

as we pray you.
