Funny Dog

In a world of fur and wagging tails,

Lies a dog, a pet, who never fails.

To bring laughter and joy, every single day,

In the most amusing and charming way.

With floppy ears and a goofy grin,

My dog's antics are sure to win.

He chases his tail in endless delight,

Spinning in circles, a comical sight.

He thinks he's a superhero, so bold,

Barking at the mailman, brave and bold.

But when the doorbell rings, oh my,

He hides behind the couch, oh why, oh why?

He sniffs at the cat, with curiosity,

But ends up yelping in sheer ferocity.

The cat just rolls her eyes in disdain,

As he tries to play a never-ending game.

He steals my socks, one by one,

And parades around, thinking it's fun.

I find them hidden under the bed,

With a guilty look, he hangs his head.

At mealtime, he's quite the beggar,

With puppy-dog eyes that make me stagger.

I share my food, just a little bit,

How can I resist? He's such a wit!

He loves to go for a car ride,

Eagerly waiting, jumping inside.

But the moment we arrive at the vet's place,

He pretends he's invisible, a master of grace.

He snores so loudly in his sleep,

I wonder if he's counting sheep.

But when I try to sneak away,

He wakes up instantly, ready to play.

So here's to my dog, my furry friend,

With laughter and love, there's no end.

He may be goofy and a bit absurd,

But he's the best pet I've ever heard!
