Earth
Earth
O' the earth,
My adorable mother,
Though I have not
Come from your womb,
You have nourished me,
Cherishing all my wishes,
Supplying unrestrained oxygen
For my breath.
The water of your rivers, springs
And Fountains
Have quenched my thirst.
The industries also feed their equipment with this Adam's ale for production.
Yes, O my mother,
Your trees have given me shade,
Dropping fruits to appease my hunger.
Crops on your bosom
Save mankind from being famished.
In your invisible lap,
I sleep without
Any hint of danger.
The drizzle
From your sky exhorts me,
The warmth of your sun nourishes me And
The moon with her silvery rays
Paves my path.
Yes,
O' my mother,
You allow us to grow plants
And industries.
You permit us to build
Long storey
For our comfort.
You never rebuke us
For our science
Related researches though
You feel suffocated.
You always smile
Like a true, hospitable
And pious mother,
Without expecting anything from us.
