Childhood Memoirs

Childhood Memoirs

Childhood has been the most beautiful adventure

The memories of which are vivid and beautiful.

We were all like kids in love

Carefree, oblivious, flying high like an elated dove.

Silly fights with siblings,

Getting soaked when it was raining.

Soiling our clothes in the mud,

Playing and falling on our knees and bleeding blood.

These memories never fail to bring a

Smile on my face,

Reminding me of the times when we used to

Decorate paper cards with sequins and lace.

Every morning our mother would plant on our cheek a kiss,

These flooding memories are nothing but sighs of bliss.
