Back On Track

I was walking

On the busy road

With others

Picking stones and feathers

That weren't my own;

Suddenly,

I started running

Wanting to collect

More of those

Faster, alone;

But

When I was supposed

To be much ahead,

I took a recess

From the race.

 

Strange!

Being away

From the tricky track

I found myself back.
