A Mediocre Democracy

I am strangulated

By the awe and travesty

That makes

My democracy

A mediocre

That runs out of solution

For every supine

And corrugated idea.

The misdemeanors are

Pronounced as valor

And

the butchery is termed

As Biblical

Options are moribund

And the institutions are perfunctory

A meager amount of buffoonery drives intelligentsia to perish

And

Somewhere

India wakes to freedom and glory.
