ACCESSING STORIES VIA MUSIC
The Aahvaan Project began with the purpose to promote the philosophy of love, humanity and kindness through stories from our everyday lives. Deeply moved by the words of Kabir, the Project focuses on creating a space for harmony in the rigmarole of everyday life. The Project is collaborative, creating fusions of ideas as it travels through villages, towns, cities, working with independent artists, NGOs, orphanages, schools and adults willing to ‘unlearn’, holding performances and workshops across the country. In this podcast, Vedi Sinha and Baan G, in conversation with our host Sarthak Kaushik, discuss the responsibility of art in opening up a safe space for having balanced conversations that would facilitate questioning the world around us through a musical intervention.
