StoryMirror in collaboration with Maktub, the poetry society of Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, University of Delhi, is thrilled to announce Slam Poetry Competition titled “Bol ki labb aazad hai tere”. Dedicated to the immense writership of Faiz Ahmad Faiz, we welcome entries for this bi-lingual poetry competition.

Round 1:

Round 2:

Mode of Participation: Delhi College of Arts & Commerce Campus (Performance-based)

Date: 31 March 2023

Reporting Time: 10:00 AM

General Guidelines:

1. The competition is open for Undergrad Students of College only.
2. The entries should be either in English or Hindi.
3. Candidates selected for Round 2 shall be announced on the day of the event.
4. All participants are supposed to report to the college at 10.00 AM for round 2. Our PoC team shall get in touch with you immediately.
5. Any form of plagiarism, including AI algorithms, is strictly prohibited.
6. The poems written should include Trigger Warnings, if any, in case of sensitive issues.
7. Any sort of hurtful and politically inappropriate content pertaining to homophobia, racism, sexism etc. can lead to disqualification.
8. Submissions should be unique

Prizes:

• All participants will receive a participation certificate.
• Top 3 overall will receive a StoryMirror shop voucher worth Rs. 200/- and a chance to win Exciting Cash Prizes, Books, Goodies, etc
• Top 20 in each category will be published in an ebook by StoryMirror.
• Winner certificates to all the winners.
