Take Me Back To The School Day

I remember those days of my life 

When there were no grudges to hold

And no tears to shed.

When I eagerly waited for the holidays to get over, so that,

I could be with my friends again.

And not moment with them was ever mundane!

I remember those days of life

When we ignored the lectures 

And played paper games.

When we argued with the teachers, laughed at their backs

And gave them funny names.

I remember those days of my life

When all the lunch was consumed before the recess.

When we bunked the classes

And didn't submit the projects.

When there were no career tensions,

And life was not a mess!

I miss those days of my life 

When attendance wasn't an issue 

And assignments were not a burden.

When worries were too little

And life was all bears and skittles!
