Traveling Down To The Past
Traveling Down To The Past
Google photos, reviewing a folder in the lappy
Are just random things.
These things lift you up
And drop you down
Somewhere where you lose your mind
Lost senses
Faster heartbeats
A replay of placards of moments.
The day I joined CAC
And the moment I stepped out of it
The journey of four years
Plays in front like a movie.
Those days of being panicked juniors
To a day of being the most senior.
The last bench gossip
Bunking morning classes just to sleep
Last night exam preparation
Kooky dance in hostel mega and picnic
Ultra involvement in college functions.
The teary-eyed face
When you get scolded by a senior
And the great sense of achievement
When you scold your juniors.
A much-planned trip to Ghanteswari
And an outlined Sambalpur visit.
Surrounded by crazy friends
The heart turns nutty.
Flash of all these
And an unnoticed smile
With teardrops running down the cheeks.
The heart beats faster again
With the memories that make life redolent
The saga of love and madness
When I travel down the memory lane.
