The World Is Choking

Once a beautiful place

Now covered in soot

Once clean, fresh air,

Now worse than cigarette smoke.

Once a bright, blue sky,

Now dull and smoggy

The future of this world,

Now looks hazy

Who is to blame?

No one, but for us.

The elements of nature

Earth, water, air, fire, and ether

Together created a beautiful creature

That has now turned evil

In the name of development

Has unknowingly created a devil - pollution.

This issue needs to be addressed

As quickly as possible

Else the world will somehow survive

But now our future generation.
