The Window Seat

The cold breeze touching her face left her speechless.

Observing the greenery outside, she wonders

About the leaves that are different, yet together

About the squirrel playing near the tree

About the birds chirping in the sky

The red brick walls talk to her.

While the voices from the classroom

Seem like a nuisance to her.

The world outside is of much more interest to her.

For she is a Happy loner.

The teacher's lecture could not grab her attention.

Because the window seat already took her heart forever.
