Lonely I Lay

I stand alone today

Same as yesterday

On the highest peak say

Or in the lowest plane lay...

Alone in my struggles

Alone in my pain

Nobody to lean on

Or share my pain someway...

Sitting alone recalling

All that has passed at bay

Sometimes under the rainfall

Or walking alone astray...

Looking at this dried twig

I remember my own state

Can there be a better tomorrow

Or this will remain this way...
