Golden Memories
Golden Memories
Memories of childhood replays
Every step I lay on the soil so old.
The very smell of mud is nostalgic
Enlightening childhood magic.
The action replay flashes
In the chronological sequences.
Honored I feel to be the child of my parents
Ingraining all values to make me the whole.
I remember the tough lesson
Transforming me into a jolly person.
And those fighting sessions with mom
Only because I had no time for breakfast.
And the hoarse command to close the TV
The exams are right in front of us.
The fight over my love life
Keeping the trio in three corners.
At last, they came with mindset yo accept
Only to see me happy all the while.
Fairness of life is always against me
But the goodness of life always chose me.
The worthiness of me is what these walls speak
A journey from silt to sculpture.
Securely captivating every growth
That ultimately brought me forth.
Those little feet tiptoed towards the kitchen
Lifting high on heals yo reach box of sweet.
And those little fingers all five in bowl
Only to quickly gulp what like the most.
