Sohanpreet Singh, widely known as Dop, is a distinguished Director of Photography whose remarkable talent has made a significant impact in the world of cinematography. Born on August 7, 1996, in Adda Chabhal, Punjab, Sohanpreet developed an early affinity for the arts. He received his education at Baba Bir Singh Public School in Gagobua, where his artistic sensibilities were nurtured. His passion for visual storytelling deepened as he pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at Baba Budha College, laying the foundation for his future career in the entertainment industry.
Sohanpreet's journey into cinematography began in 2017 when he started as an assistant Director of Photography (DOP). His dedication, sharp eye for detail, and natural talent soon garnered attention within the industry, allowing him to rapidly advance in his career. By 2019, he made the leap to a full-time DOP, solidifying his place among the most sought-after professionals in the field.
Known for his stunning visuals and emotional depth, Sohanpreet has worked on a variety of high-profile projects, especially music videos. His work on the music video for "Time" by Virasat Sandhu is a prime example of his ability to translate raw emotion into visually compelling narratives.
