Sleep well, and dream loftily, for you'll be spending the rest of your life translating those very dreams into reality.

Movies are that kaleidoscope that you peer into, transfixed the magic you see unfolding on the silver screen, even though a rational part of you knows none of it is real, an Einstein Rosen bridge that teleports you to another universe, be it a few centuries or a few light years away. It's basically a beautiful, intricately crafted lie you wish were true.

Red, blue, a rather attractive shade of purple, intercepted only by irregular spots of black. In no festival or celebration had she seen colours daubed so liberally across any surface. The antiseptic, a fluid that was rather a nauseous shade of green dripped from the clots of congealed blood on her brutalised forehead, as she cleaned up the wreckage of her husband's drunken fit.

Being a medical professional isn't a job or a livelihood, it's a whole other lifestyle. It's characterised by wakefulness at the most ungodly hours,so that your patient can have a sound night's sleep, going through overpowering exhaustion and strain yourself to alleviate the pains of others,by nurturing and enabling life.If you're a doctor, you're no less than an emissary of God himself.

To feel the wind beneath your wings, you must take that first terrifying step off the cliff into the abyss, all the while believing that you can fly,or at the very least, that you'll learn.

To every cynic who believes that humans are unappreciative, malevolent creatures, all I will say is,"Wait till you see you a toddler laugh when you tickle their chin or ruffle their hair. Just don't wait long enough for that glee to be smothered by life and for that smile to be d by a lingering grimace."

We're the race that invented artificial intelligence, explored the skies and beyond, we're the most advanced, sophisticated, and by consequence, the most unscrupulous megalomaniacs, but we're not alone on earth;from jaguars prowling in the undergrowth of dense jungles to walruses lording it over the alpine tundra, we harmoniously coexist with some 9 million other species.

A huge part of good luck is just self fulfilling prophecy. It's the universe surrendering to your will, your conviction and efforts because you left it no other choice. So, when it's a choice of having too much faith or not enough, err on the side of the former.

Sometimes, it's a good idea to let irrationality tide over you, rather than push it away, and then to savour the taste of that perfectly miraculous experience for the rest of forever.
