She completed her education in English Journalism from the prestigious Indian Institute of Mass Communication. She holds a Post Graduate Degree in English Literature from Ravenshaw University; a Masters Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Himachal Pradesh University and a Degree in Law from Utkal University .Presently she is a Research Scholar pursuing a PhD. She has authored "Shri Jagannath Mahaprasad Legends Miracles Myths", a book on Jagannath Consciousness. The book was selected by the Ministry of Culture, and Government of India for the Raja Ram Mohun Roy Library Foundation. In 2019 she authored a coffee Table book -"Mimescape of Telangana A Montage on Mime" published by the Department of Language and Culture , Government of Telangana.
