Lwandile Yalezo is a lad that was born in Bizana, in the Eastern Cape province in South Africa. I am a student at the Nelson Mandela University, doing my 3 rd year in Information Technology(Support services and
Communications networks) at North Campus. I am a digital nomad who is interested in digital systems
and digital marketing in this 4th industrial evolution that this present world is currently evolving to. I
am a person who is also interested in human behaviour and also in differences in the human nature.
I am a peer helper here at the Nelson Mandela University, an extension of student counselling. I like to volunteer in many courses that I believe in, and ‘sharing’ is the value I uphold. I write short stories and poems, and yet I
uphold many talents. “Identity is vital to any mortal.”
I write my short stories in Xhosa, which is my home language and in English, which is my first additional language.
I write most of my poems and short stories to raise an awareness to the society with regards to their surrounding; sometimes to pass a certain message to people. Both short stories and poems help me to exercise my creativity muscles and to
attract readers. Sometimes for people to read something that they can reflect to and say, “I can relate to that.”
More also, to try new things now and then as time still allows. I want to meet up with like-minded
individuals that I can grow with in writing and also to grow myself and my stories and poems to be
published in a magazine or in any formal platform, and also to take my voice out there in the world
and impact it in an amazing way, and touch many hearts with my stories and poems. Also to
entertain readers. Read less
