Contest Rules

Write a short story based on "The Fractured Timeline" (the given theme).

Word Limit:

1000 – 2000 words

Genre:

Multiverse Fantasy, Time Travel Fiction, Cosmic Fantasy, Science Fantasy, Alternate Reality Fiction

 Your story must include:

* A pivotal decision that alters reality

* A timeline rupture, paradox, or alternate reality

* Emotional, personal, or cosmic consequences of changing fate

* High stakes (personal, universal, or multiversal)

* A compelling ending, revelation, or twist

The story must be:

Original | Unpublished | Creative

Language:

* Avoid plagiarism or AI-generated submissions without significant original creative contribution.

* Avoid hate speech, discrimination, or offensive content.

* Content should remain respectful and constructive in tone.

Now the timelines are colliding.

Different versions of yourself exist across fractured realities.

Memories no longer belong to a single life.

Entire worlds are disappearing while others emerge from the void.

Can reality be restored?

Should it be?

Or is destiny merely another story waiting to be rewritten?

Your task is to craft a compelling short story exploring the consequences of a reality-altering decision and the worlds born from it.

Every choice has a cost.
