Introduction

Cambridge@EuroSchool, Airoli in association with the StoryMirror proudly presents L.O.T, a literary festival with a difference (Online Writing Contest). We invite your students to write stories of a minimum of 1500 words and maximum of 2500 words on any one of the genres mentioned below for the online story writing competition.

1. Thriller/Mystery
2. Horror
3. Comedy
4. Fantasy

Alternatively, students could write a poem of a minimum of 16 lines and maximum of 24 lines on any one of the following themes:

1. Nature
2. Friendship
3. Dreams
4. Emotions (Fear, Happiness, etc.)

Rules

1. Only Cambridge learners can participate in the contest.

2. One participant can either send a story or poetry.

3. Each participant can submit only one story or poetry. Multiples entries from the same participant will not be accepted.

4. Students from Grades 6 to 9 can participate in the Story/Poetry Writing Competition.

5. The story/poetry must be submitted before the November 25.

6. The poetry/story must be original. Plagiarized writing will be disqualified.

7. The decision of the judging committee will be final.

Prize

10 best stories and 10 best poems will be selected by a panel of editors. Stories and poems will be printed and published as a book. The book will be released on December 2, 2017.
