Come join us in our mission to touch every heart. StoryMirror presents this Poetry Writing Competition for all the poetry lovers.
Submit 7 or more Text Poems or Audio Poems and get eligible for amazing prizes.
The poems need to be submitted one at a time. Please repeat the process for multiple submissions.
Rules:
1. The poems has to be submitted only in English and through the competition link. 2. There are no restrictions on genre. 3. All poetry types like Sonnets, Limerick, Haiku, Narratives, Epic, Couplet and free verse will be accepted. 4. All participants submitting 7 or more poems (Text or Audio) will be eligible for free paperback poetry book. Make sure to submit 7 Text or 7 audio poems to be eligible. Combination of 7 text and audio will not be considered.
5. Any participant submitting 7 text + 7 audio poems will be eligible for prizes in both the categories. 6. All the content on StoryMirror goes through editorial process. Only the poems accepted by our editors and published on the platform will be considered for the final prizes. Rejected content will not be considered as valid submission.
7. Decision of StoryMirror will be final and binding on all the participants 8. Participants should submit their original poems. There is no limit on the number poems to be submitted. 9. Articles / Essays / Stories are not allowed for submission
Prizes:
Submit 7 or more text or audio poems and receive a free paperback poetry book. We will share a form of the available book list on 5th June 2019. You may select a book of your choice from the list.
Cash Prizes (Or Amazon Vouchers) will be shared as below:
1st Prize: INR 500/- (In both Text and Audio Category respectively)
2nd Prize: INR 300/- (In both Text and Audio Category respectively)
3rd Prize: INR 200/- (In both Text and Audio Category respectively)
10 selective poems will be published in upcoming StoryMirror's paperback poetry anthology. Poems will be selected basis editors' and readers' choice.
Next Best 50 text poems will be published in a form of e-book.
All participants submitting 7 or more text or audio poems will receive certificate from StoryMirror.
Winners will be selected basis editorial scores, views, likes and Public Votes.
Best poems will be featured on StoryMirror's official Instagram and Facebook channels.
