Tell – A – Tale
Edgar Allan Poe was a renowned writer and poet known for his haunting stories involving mystery and terror. His famous work, “The Tell-Tale Heart,” is a masterpiece of psychological horror.
Under this theme, we encourage writers to submit their best psychological horror short story! However, there is a twist: the story must take place in one setting ONLY.
Example: One room, one house, one floor, etc. Make it mysterious, make it psychologically disturbing, and make it spine-chilling!
Contest Rules
- Core Requirement: Write a short psychological horror story using only one setting/location for the entire duration of the story.
- Word Limit: 1000 words (approximately 2 pages).
- Genre: Psychological thriller, horror, mystery.
- Content Type: The story must be original, fiction, or realistic.
- Language: English or Hindi.
- Guidelines: * Avoid naming or criticizing specific organizations or individuals.
- Content must be respectful and constructive in tone.
- Only one entry per participant is allowed.
- Finality: The decision of StoryMirror will be final and binding on all participants.
- Entry Fee: There is no participation fee.
