StoryMirror - Rhythmic Ties brings to you Slam Poetry Competition!
Don't shy away and take the spotlight along with other artists as you discover the star that has been hidden inside you as well as local talent across the city who have so much to put on display!

Rules:
1. Register yourself in the competition on link: http://bit.ly/2MIUwK2 from 6th August – 28th August.
2. Submit the audio files. The audios should be recorded without any unwanted background noise.
3. StoryMirror will shortlist the participants based on the editorial scores, number of views, likes.
4. There is no restriction on genre.
5. There is no limit on the number of poems to be submitted.
6. Decision of StoryMirror will be final and binding on all the participants.
7. Articles / Essays / Stories are not allowed for submission.
8. Shortlisted participants will perform live on 31st August.
9. Judges will decide the final winners in the contest.

Our Judges:
Ravi Chand Punia: He has been writing since almost 15 years while switching between alter egos of sun & moon. A student of ghazals, Urdu poetry besides rock, metal and hip-hop movements. A Wine Sommelier by profession, having spent almost half of his life away from home he incorporates the experiences in his writings. In his own words- he inks about blood, sweat and tears.

Dhruv Sharma: A finance lawyer by profession but a poet and a writer by passion. His works are often inspired by social injustice, love, loss, passage of time and human nature. His nazmas and ghazals in Urdu carries a unique flavour that makes his work easily recognisable amongst others.

Amita Kedia: By profession creative writer in a advertisement company & freelancer voice over & dubbing artist. I write by the name “Lehrein “-waves .. People often listen to the sound of waves, but I always sit along the sea and listen to the silence of” Lehrein “

Prizes:
1. StoryMirror will feature the winner as the “Poet of the Month”. The winner will be given a trophy and StoryMirror gold membership.
2. The first runner-up will be given a trophy with silver membership.
3. All the shortlisted participants will be given digital certificates.
4. Best contents will be featured on StoryMirror Website, StoryMirror Youtube Channel & Facebook Pages.
5. ‘Poet of the Month’ winners will be given paid assignments with StoryMirror, if any.
