Hey, young storyteller! Do you know you have two brains inside you?

One brain says, "I want it NOW!" The other brain says, "Wait… think first."

StoryMirror invites kids like you to write a story inspired by Aahana and the Two Brains by Avinash Parhi. This time, your story is about your superpower.

Wait – a superpower? Yes!

Not the kind that lets you fly or turn invisible. The real superpower – the one that helps you pause, understand your feelings, and make a good choice even when you're angry, sad, or scared.

Imagine this:

  • Something happens that makes you really upset.
  • Your first brain wants to scream or break something.
  • But then you remember – you have a superpower.
  • You take a deep breath. You pause. You think.
  • And then you do something brave, kind, or smart.

That is your superpower.

Now write a short story about a child who discovers or uses their superpower – the power to listen to both brains and make a good choice.

Show us how you handle big feelings. Show us your brave, kind, or smart decision. We can't wait to read your story!
