The Dragon Slayer

This is a story about a boy, who wanted to slay a dragon, save his beloved Kingdom and protect his people especially the princess. This boy , his name was James, he lived in the Kingdom Of Valour, a kingdom with power, riches, magic and secrets. James's grandfather was a knight 'Sir Williams'. He wanted to be a knight just like his grandfather strong, brilliant, swift and brave. So, one day he decided to go on a adventure to slay the dragon who kidnapped the princess, save her and earn the title of a knight. The beautiful princess Lara was kind, generous, helping and calm. The Dragon wasn't always a dragon he was a magician a bad one though , he once made a potion to take a dragon's form and return to his original form in some time, but the spell went wrong and he cursed himself.

He always wanted to be the king of Valour but he didn't have the right so as a dragon he killed the King and kidnapped the princess and raised a army of dead warriors from the war with his magic.

James asked for snacks from his grandma, she asked, "why, do you need so many snacks. "James said, "Grandma I am going to slay the dragon and be knight like grandpa. "Grandma said, "Follow me. "Into the storage vault they went, for storage it too clean. Grandma opened a box and drew out a sword, clean and polished , she said, 'This is your grandpa's sword. "He packed the snacks, took his grandfather's armor of the case and hanged the sword in its cover on his back. He took off.

The next day, he reached a inn. He thought lets take some shelter, take rest and eat some snacks that grandma prepared. He went to the bar for a drink or two and got into a sword fight. As he didn't know how to use a sword he failed , but the bartender. She helped James, as soon as he saw her he fell for her. He thanked her and asked her to join his quest to slay the dragon, she agreed. Her name was Lilyan. James said, "We'll have to make a quick stop to La Guardia. "What's La Guardia?"It is where all the rookies are trained to become Knights. "said James. On their way they found some ruins, "This must be the way to La Guardia"said James.

The magicians at La Guardia were Lawny. Bluffer and the oldest and the wisest was Orion. They trained James and Lilyan, it took time but they were trained and ready to slayed the dragon.

After a day's journey later, they reached the dragon's lair "Drag Mount". They climbed and climbed, took some rest, ate the rest of the snacks and drank some water. They reached the gates. There were some guards, James and lilyan finished them and continued inside. The dragon was shocked to see kids, and asked, "how did two kids come past my soldiers ?"

They fought valiantly, but James had fallen down. The dragon turned his back on James to finish Lilyan, when James remembered rule no. One is to never think that the enemy is down. He got, jumped rock from rock. The dragon looked back and James mid air drew out his sword and stabbed him in the heart. The princess bared witness of the whole fight. They rescued her, took her back to the palace, she was quickly put in healing. After the princess was all fine and healthy, the people hosted a welcome back celebration for her. The princess called James and Lilyan and Knighted them. Then they arouse as Sir James and Lady Lilyan. The kingdom was happy, peace and harmony had restored , James and Lilyan served the princess in the army and Lilyan turned out to be James's girlfriend.

Happiness lasted until the next time.
