Darkness In Each Morning
Darkness In Each Morning
In the rarest of the mornings,
Where the daybreak couldn't diminish the darkness,
All the keys I found,
But the door remained locked.
The heart screamed in vain, as it shattered into a million pieces,
Yet, not a word by lips, not a teardrop fell from the eyes.
No ink could write the story,
And the unending pain remained unrevealed.
I saw your photograph
Sitting all alone, yet I could hear you laugh;
Withered leaves falling from trees,
Like losing a battle with the strong breeze.
A similar battle I was losing,
Where I stood as my opponent:
A fight with myself, that I'll forget you someday
And I lost everyday in my attempt!
