Day 4 Lockdown: One Pot Meal

Dear Diary,

As the quarantine day drives on, the human side of each one of us is getting enhanced. With media presenting the status of thousands of laborers walking miles with kids and families to reach their destination, it seems we are in a pretty safe zone by staying in our homes. Many of them are hungry for more than two days, and some have only 20m rupees in a pocket. Still, they are giving their best shot to survive today.

Just wondering how will they get food and medicines on their way? Will they ever be able to win this race? Surely the condition is getting worse day by day. This invisible killer is deceiving us and settling its root deep inside our lives. 

Will my veggie stock almost about to get over, so I have cooked a one-pot meal today for a family. It's never easy to make every one of my family to eat khichdi happily. But to my surprise, no one questioned anything today. As they all kept their empty plates for washing, I wonder how things have changed. Surely man is capable of adapting and adjusting really soon. 

While my heart weeps for those who are not attaining one meal even. I finished my food also.

Nature is trying to make everyone into a better person, while some are struggling hard. 

Remembering Darwin’s theory of Survival of the fittest. You never know maybe mankind is undergoing the next evolution state. Evolution of our thoughts, clean mind, more caring for nature and better humanity further. 

This isolation period has a lot more to discover. Hoping the rest of the world staying safe with minimum resource utilization.
