Steve walked towards the forest, carrying a basket with few chicken legs and some fruits. As he reached the forest, he placed the basket on the ground. He sat there remembering his first visit to the forest 15 years ago after listening to a tale that a devil eagle lived in there. People feared the eagle. No one had seen the eagle, but the tales about its demonic nature were passed on from one generation to another. Steve had been visiting the forest regularly and would bring something for the devil eagle to eat. He always found the basket empty on his next day's visit, and he didn’t know if the eagle ate it or someone else. He had never seen the eagle, but this time, he came with hope. He didn’t know if he would return from war or not, that’s why he wanted to meet the eagle, but even after waiting for hours no one came. Carrying the disappointment, he returned.

Along with other men, he began his journey towards the city. He wasn’t able to resist his anxiety. His eyes searched the eagle throughout his journey. The rush at the camp forced him to divert his focus. He began preparing for the war. All of them marched towards the mountains. As they saw their enemies, they began using their rifles. People were hurt, some even died, but the battle continued. Steve led his troops and hiding behind the trees he began to fire. He and his troops succeeded in killing the enemies. However, to their surprise, another contingent marched towards them, and in the crossfire, Steve was injured.

Steve sat down, taking the support of stone to shield him. He was in pain. He was unaware of what to do. He thought it was his end. He felt the wind. Moreover, within a few minutes, the velocity of wind increased as if a mini storm was coming. As Steve raised his eyes, he saw a giant eagle approaching him flapping his vast wings. Opposite to others, Steve had a smile on his face. He was happy to see the devil eagle. As it came closer, it frightened the men; no one had ever seen anything of that sort. The eagle landed near Steve and walked towards him. Eagle rubbed his beak on Steve‘s chin, and the devil's eyes began forming water bubbles. With great difficulty, Steve managed to touch the devil eagle. He was overwhelmed.

After a minute, the eagle jumped and flew towards the battlefield and began killing the opponents. There was chaos on the field. People were scared at first, but soon they began firing at the eagle. The destruction caused by the devil eagle had helped Steve and his fellow men to win the war. The eagle appeared weak after it took those bullets, but to make it worse the winning party began firing at the devil eagle. Steve wanted to stop them but had no strength to do so.

Gradually the eagle fell on the ground. Steve was devastated. All of them were happy by the win, so was Steve, but the death of devil eagle made him sad. The whole village was enjoying, but Steve was inside his house with eyes filled with tears as he realized that he has to live with that sorrow.
