Einstein Of 2018

This story is dedicated to one of my friends. My friend's name is Bali. He has a very good and kind heart. This story happened in the year 2018 when wine and cigarettes were common in my town.

Bali was born in a very poor family. When he was 15, his dad expired, that's why he was only living for his mom. He steals phones to make their living and he also has some bad habits (drinking and smoking). And one day, while he was stealing a phone, somebody caught him and took him to the police station where the police found that Bali is doing all these things for money and he was a child, so they send him to a counseling session and also the government helps him to make him educated, that's why his admission was done in a government school, and that was when I met him for the first time.

After some days, we became good friends, and he said to me his whole story and I was shocked. Bali was not at all good at studies, that's why he failed in class 9, that's why the teachers and students call him Einstein, but negatively (opposite of Einstein or slow learner), and everybody laughs at him, even the teachers call his mother and speaks 1000 of wrong words just to make his mom offended in front of all.

Bali was depressed and crying from inside but not in front of his mom because he knows if his mom saw him crying then she too would start crying and Bali knew that he can't stop her from crying. After this thing, he already knew that no one is his friend and this world is full of selfish people, that's why the only friend is his diary in which he wrote his poems and expressed his feelings because he thought the diary is the only one whom he can trust.

One day on the school notice board there was a notice that the Times Of India is conducting a writing contest at the state level and the winning story will be published in the Times Of India newspaper. When Bali saw this notice he contacted his principal to participate in this contest, and when he goes to principal room, the principal replied that he will not give a chance to participate in the contest as Bali is a slow learner and also laughed on him by saying that I can't help the Einstein.

After this, Bali cried a lot but he doesn't give up at that moment. He secretly went to the computer lab because that's the only place where he has access to the internet and after that, he found the direct mail ID of the judges and he just mailed his story which was written by him.

But because of bad luck, the computer teacher catches him when he was using the computer and the computer teacher spread a fake rumor that Bali tried to steal the computer from the lab, and after this, Bali gets restricted from the school. And one day he got a letter from his school that he won the Times Of India writing contest and he was invited to the prize distribution ceremony.

These days, some people think that Einstein became Einstein by luck, so any other slow learner can't be like Einstein. That's why these days teachers call slow learners as Einstein to make fun of them but my friend proved it wrong to all this stereotype and today he is a successful writer who will achieve more in the future.
