Starry Evening

Maybe the universe does work in beautiful ways which we may not be aware of...

This story goes back to a few years, when a normal movie outing sprung a new feeling in me. To begin with I never had a celebrity crush before, but ever since his debut, I couldn't take my eyes off him. Like every other youngster I was head over heals about him. I felt this a bit crazy to ask for, but I always secretly wished to see him. Years passed by, but this secret wish of mine didn't die it's own death. 

Then there came this possibility of being spotted by him on social media. But all kind of tweets just received ignorance, and with each ignored tweet you feel that maybe this is just a silly wish. 

Circumstances and priorities changed, and soon there was not that obsession of meeting or seeing him at least once. But the tweeting never stopped. Then there was this day when the King of Bollywood himself came for an inauguration of movie theater in my vicinity. I gave a serious thought to it, that if none other than the King himself could come, then why not my celebrity crush. He's no King, but definitely the King of my heart. Ever since that day, this secret wish of mine was not just a silly wish, but it was something that I seriously asked for to happen. I don't know how, but the universe does work in mysterious ways. In a month's time, I came upon this post which said that the "King of my heart" was indeed coming to this mall in my locality. I couldn't believe my eyes for a few minutes, but this was happening! Something that I wished for since years, was actually materializing. I ignored my priorities for that day and set out to meet him or at least get a glimpse of him. It was no easy task waiting for three hours to just get to spend a few minutes around him. But it was worth the wait. I finally got to see him in reality, and got to hear his mesmerizing voice. Oh! What a magical moment that was! I am short of words to explain that kind of excitement. It truly needs to be experienced.

Maybe one day I'll get to speak to him in person. I'm off to wishing for that to happen. Till then fingers crossed.
