She was waiting for a train, full of life, thinking about how well she had spent her day. In a sweatshirt and boots, she had been walking at the beach by the sea, celebrating her solitude and her love for herself. Of course it was the happy exertion that made her tired, so she sat down on a bench. Beside her was him.
He sat there, dejected, hopeless, waiting for the same train but waiting for nothing. His beloved had accepted someone else's flowers and left his heart to decay. She had a pure heart, out of compassion she asked, "When the weather is so beautiful, why do you seem so sad? " before he could reply the train arrived and both of them got into it together. Although a stranger, he spoke to her about all he had gone through and she shared her story too, when they asked general questions they realized their destination was the same. Also, their destination was nothing but peace. Even after getting home that day, they kept in touch. Eventually they built a connection. They understood each other but still argued a lot, they called each other both perfect and useless, dumb but also witty. They shared sarcastic comments but were also consoling. She accepted him the way he was and he did too but both of them beat each other up to change for good. At times they laughed at each other, or lifted each other's mood. Their fights and affection was an uncommon bond. They were simply ideal Best Friends. Born out of fake dislike and real love, they could finally see the dove, they had found their peace in each others company. No promises of forever, no assumption without each other their lives could normally function. When together all the risks they could take, their presence in each others life was like a cherry on the cake.
